Signal quality between the G6 and S7 Edge on Verizon

I travel a lot and I was wandering what kind of signal quality you are getting on the G6 with Verizon compared to another phone? I currently have an S7 Edge and a iPhone 7+. I am getting the best reception when I am in fringe area's with the S7. Thanks for any info.

Stick with S7. I have G6. Sitting in living room I can barely surf internet. Wifes S7 can stream youtube without buffering.

My first one was like that. The replacement handles it better.

I went ahead and purchased a G6. I have to say that the signal quality of the G6 is on par with what I get from my IPhone 7+ and S7 edge. The dbm numbers are almost identical to the S7 and IPhone. I'm really enjoying using the phone. It hasn't lagged very often. The S7 was starting to lag in places which is the reason for this purchase.

Not sure how to figure that out?

Is there any network settings a person can tweak?

I actually just checked dbm and asu.

Mine were -109 dbm 5 ASU

Hers (galaxy 7 edge) -116 dbm 24 ASU

Pretty weak #s .

Strange because here phone works better in house when not using wifi.

Our network is crapppy. Northern Manitoba. The only reason I care is i spend alot of time in outdoors on edge of reception area. So its nice to have strongest reception possible .
