Help with ROM Manager

Hi All,
I, like many of you, am having problems since KitKat was installed on my phone. Blows thru the battery in no time at all. Decided to root phone...that went pretty easy. Then I downloaded ROM Manager and found a ROM which I have put as a zip file on my SD card. Problem I am having is that when I go into ROM Manager and click on "Install ROM from SD Card", it doesn't see any of the files on the external card. It only shows me the files on the internal card.

I would greatly appreciate any help on this.
