I took my V20 for one last spin as I have now sold the phone. This was the phone that got me into photography or I guess phonegraphy. I have lots of photos that I haven't posted. I will definitely be back with the V series!

A surprisingly sharp 1 second handheld exposure late at night. The silhoutte of the shoes against the night sky made for an interesting composition. Edited in Lightroom which after being updated has an actual noise reduction and sharpen slider like you would find on the desktop program. I love the app even more now.

Is this real life?lol
Well it sure isn't a fantasy. Lol

About a foot feel yesterday and expecting a total of you to 30" by tomorrow. Also just had a roof collapse at a local hotel (though I suspect the roof was already weakened). Thankfully it was in the pool area and no one was around it at the time.

Man that is crazy. Sheesh. We had two 80° days so we got a little taste of spring. Can't wait for it to be consistent. God speed to you guys though.

Ain't nothin' but a thang. Lol.

These were from our last snow storm when I had to work. Roads weren't as bad, but I picked up about 3,500 lbs of ice on my rig.0403181737.jpg0403181737b.jpg

Didn't put a tree up, but it's normal to leave the lights up until it warms up enough to get them down here, meaning in Spring. So I said screw it and flipped them on. Lol0415182000.jpg

At the right place and right time.

While unloading my truck next to these tracks, I heard the train horn. I wasn't able to get in place before the lead locomotives went by, but I knew it would have a pusher or two. So I hung out until it came past and got this snap of the "end" of the train. Shot in manual, and the RAW lightly edited in Snapseed (mostly to remove the auto-jpeg processing that dulled the image).0416181600a-01.jpeg

Loving the new Lightroom app which is basically the desktop version on mobile now. Edited RAW files from our trip to the car wash. Last one is wide angle of course.

I went for specific looks with these shots. Snapseed was perfect for what I was looking for which was sort of a gritty, grunge type look.

On the move from Maryland to South Carolina. As with tradition we took some pics at South of the Border. Portrait mode shots via Google camera. Everything else in manual.

The combination of manual mode and Google Camera have proven to be a very reliable duo and I have taken some pictures good enough to print and hang up. I have been really impressed this weekend with my family.

Re-edited this one in Snapseed to bring out the cloud detail (yay RAW detail!) so it's not so blown out. Not a big fan of the blue tint that was brought out, but I couldn't fix it any better. Still pretty happy with it.0416181600a-02.jpeg

I went to a model train show today and tried practicing panning shots to show motion. This was about the only half decent shot I got with that technique. I don't think this phone is very suitable for that. Lol0428181238.jpg
