Android Central Question

I recently purchased the v40 and I can not locate the photo edit button and it's driving me crazy!
When reviewing pictures, typically there is an edit icon (usually showing along the bottom icon tray). Naturally, I would like to be able to crop, adjust brightness etc., just like on both previous LG phones I've had. Can someone please help me...

Well, I'll spare everyone the lengthy search process in trying to figure this out, but after reading a few posts I decided to go into settings> apps> photos(which is googles storage), and re-enable it.
When I got my new LG 40 I decided to disable Googles photos app and just use the gallery by default that came with the phone, as I had used it for years on other models and had really gotten to know it and had no need to really use the Googles Photos app for cloud storage...thus disabling when i first got my phone... well regardless and for whatever reason just by enabling that app editing features came back for both gallery and photo! Well, There you have it... hope this can help someone else in the future

The best photo editor is called Photo Editor 4.0 on Google play. It is as close to a Windows editor that I've found. You can do almost anything and they keep adding to it. It is worth the download.
BTW: I have no stake in the app, I just use it a lot.
