Yes, see the picture of the charging cable earlier in this thread. Plugs into the bottom of the cradle, left-hand side.

Pretty happy with how it turned out. I'll have to fine-tune positioning after I've driven a bit.

I'll be looking into hardwiring this over the weekend; has anyone else done this with the Vu Car yet?

EDIT: I just received mine in the mail. The power solution is indeed a cigarette lighter/accessory plug.

My guess is the "Extra USB port for charging 2 devices simultaneously" they're touting will be located on the lighter/accessory plug rather than on the cradle itself.

Just got this by e-mail, in case anyone finds it helpful: "We have received limited quantities of the gray color to be followed by the other colors over the next few weeks."

Tough to nail down the details based on Tylt's site, but I believe they'll come with a cigarette lighter plug that I'll have to modify to hardwire.

I'm holding out for this one. They recently said it should be available for purchase within a month. My only (minor) concern with this dock is the wiring--I've already hardwired a micro USB that i used for my old RAZR MAXX HD cradle, so hopefully I can reuse that instead of having to rewire.

So did you need to trade in your phone? And did they credit you the $100 trade-in? I'd like to go the same route you did, but I'd hate to miss out on the $100 promo, especially if they're going to make me trade in my phone anyway. Thanks in advance!

Did you "Early Edge" (join Edge before your 2-year contract expired) or "Edge Up" (trade in your prior Edge-financed device before it was 100% paid)? If you did "Early Edge" did they make you turn in your old phone? If so, did they give you the benefit of the $100 promotional trade-in? Thanks!
