As soon as I put it on charge it went back to flashing battery percentage and lightening symbol. I'll try and solder the battery connections as suggested and maybe change the charger port.

Thanks for the reply I had a look at the battery connections and they are too small for my soldering iron and they looked ok. I noticed that the charging port had a replacement sticker on it so I unplugged the charger port and it turns off fine now with no battery drain. I cleaned and reseated...

Hi I have a Samsung tab s 8.4 and it has a yellow tinge to the screen. It also has a problem when you turn it off the battery percentage keeps flashing and running the battery down. I've replaced the battery with a genuine Samsung one but not sure what else I can try. Any help would be...
