Samsung tab s problem

Hi I have a Samsung tab s 8.4 and it has a yellow tinge to the screen. It also has a problem when you turn it off the battery percentage keeps flashing and running the battery down. I've replaced the battery with a genuine Samsung one but not sure what else I can try. Any help would be appreciated guys thanks

Changing battery won't solve the problem as seen in many Samsung tablets because of this flaw: cracked solder joints of battery connector.
Resolder it will fix the problem, no need to remove the mainboard, just disconnect battery cable then resolder the connector from the top as this is a surface mounted connector.

Thanks for the reply I had a look at the battery connections and they are too small for my soldering iron and they looked ok. I noticed that the charging port had a replacement sticker on it so I unplugged the charger port and it turns off fine now with no battery drain. I cleaned and reseated the charger port and everything is working great for now. Thanks for the reply.

As soon as I put it on charge it went back to flashing battery percentage and lightening symbol. I'll try and solder the battery connections as suggested and maybe change the charger port.

This connector actually has hairline cracks, push it gently it'll move

I've tried all the adaptive screen fixes and tried downloading the screen colour apps

I have no idea if I don't see the picture of your screen.
Try to reseat the LCD cable from both connectors: from LCD and mainboard.

It's more than 4 years this post was active. However any one got any positive solutions? My screen got this yellow tint issue more than a year. Went to a repair centre and they suggested screen replacement but it will cost a huge.
MY SCREEN SOMETIMES GETS BACK TO NORMAL COLOR RANDOMLY AND YESTERDAY IT BECAME NORMAL AGAIN.
I think the problem is in the soldering area. Because suddenly it is normal and most of the time it's yellow.
Please leave me a solution.

Hey, I have the same problem and one thing that I've noticed is that when I scroll down the notification bar, I can see on the background(behind the notification bar) that it's is showing colors properly. Let me know if you have found a solution.
