Oh you are so clever! There were, indeed, extra options in the Bluetooth settings for the car connection. Have to say that the page in question didn't stay around for very long, but on the third attempt I caught the page at just the right moment, set the Contacts option and all the contacts...

Just got a new car. Paired the phone with it OK but it then asked to download contacts. OK'd that, but it fails all the time. I would like contacts on the car because it has voice commands, so could make a phone call by saying "Call Fred". Lots of people saying that the download is failing...

Hoping someone can help with (what I think is) a sleep sensor problem. I have my G5S in a case which used to a) switch off the phone when the case was closed and b) switch it on again when the case was opened. It has stopped doing this. Is there something I could have fiddled with to cause this...

Agreed - but she's not IT literate. She claims that anything that is downloaded can't be deleted. So, I send her a cartoon from a daily paper; this is a link via email, which she clicks on and the cartoon downloads. This, she claims, cannot be deleted. If it wasn't for this ***** COVID stuff...
