Holy crap. I got this update AND a replacement Note 4 pretty much at the same time. Took a day and a half for my apps to install and even then many were crawling. Turned out that the Google PlayStore app needed to be forced stopped and the cache cleared. Things are working smoothly now.

Yeah, it was after I factory reset my phone (Note 4), did I start having issues with contact syncing. I've been using SyncMe, but that's still missing some of my contacts and it changed a couple of others to people I don't even know! Funny thing is, my Windows Phone never had an issue...and...

Yes. But, for whatever reason, sync.me isn't finding him in my Facebook friends list, so I can't link or assign him. Another weird thing is that it only shows 13 contacts syncing even though I have way more than that.

Weird issue for me: there are a couple of contacts in FB that aren't being added or syncing.

I have to update my earlier post: So while I uninstalled the current version of FB from my Note 4 and used a much older version (v16.x), things worked just fine. Now I am updated to the current version of FB and while contact profile pics are still being updated, new contacts aren't added.

I just returned from the Verizon store and told them what was going on. It took a little while, but they uninstalled the Facebook app and it reverted to an earlier version (16.0.0.11.15), and right away, all my contacts from Facebook are there. I get contacts from two sources: Microsoft...

I'm positive. A couple of friends were recently married and a few more had changed their profile pics often. These changes were reflected on my phone. Now I do remember when Facebook and Outlook stopped syncing months ago, but the phone always did. All very strange...

But like I wrote, this was working for me as of this past Friday. When I did a factory reset, that's when it stopped.

Well see that's what I don't understand from what people are saying in here and what I saw on my phone: Up until this past Friday, my phone synced with Facebook contacts and now it doesn't. Many are saying that it hasn't synced in over a year, going by posting date. What the heck gives?

This is something that has just started with me...Note 4 on Verizon. Had to do a factory reset because the microphone for text-to-speech stopped working and the techs at Verizon couldn't get it to work. They told me they would get me a new phone, but I had to reset my old one first to make sure...
