    wireless charging still with Otterbox?

I have an Otterbox Defender and a Hypergear wireless fast charger stand and I'm able to fast charge with the case on. I've also tried it on my friends Dewalt wireless charger and it worked on that also. Hope that helps!

    New WiFi symbol?

I agree with mooncat and others above. I finally replaced my 10 year old router with a new 4 antenna router with beam forming and the 802.1ax WiFi. And lo and behold I now get WiFi symbol with the 6 in it. Never realized that the S10 + was an ax wifi standard! My speeds to the router are now in...

Samsung Galaxy Xcover Pro, help get Verizon Advanced Calling features working

I gotcha Mike. It seems some models work fine, others not so good. Maybe you can explain to the Op where you found those settings. I've always bought through my carrier and never had problems. But I've seen many people on these forums complain about not being able to use WiFi calling, Hotspot...

Samsung Galaxy Xcover Pro, help get Verizon Advanced Calling features working

There's your one big problem, if Verizon doesn't "support" that particular model, you can't get those "features" . Most likely the IMEI is not in their database and that model hasn't been tested on their network. Another problem could be that that particular phone doesn't have the proper LTE...

    VoLTE?

I stand corrected, thanks for the link! I always thought it just worked (voice/data) due to 4G, but I was wrong. Thanks again for pointing that out.

    VoLTE?

It was the same on VZW before VoLTE. When VZW went to 4G, you could use both voice and data at the same time. voice over LTE is just a newer voice service that gives you HD clarity. VoLTE calling has nothing to do with simultaneous data also capabilities.

    VoLTE?

I know on my Verizon S10 + it's called HD Voice. That is what enables VoLTE calling features. Other than that, check to see if there's any different wording, that's the only thing I can think of. Sorry if this is no help.

Notification limit dropped from 50 to 24 per app in Android 10 notification drawer

As VidJunky stated above, I responded to the same forum. Here's a screen shot showing over 200 notifications for YouTube. So I believe it is also a per app thing. Hope it helps you!

    Sound Notifications disabled from Bluetooth?

I just took a look. When I'm paired I went to Bluetooth and hit the gear icon next to the connected device. It shows what I have set in the picture. I don't remember if I choose certain sounds during setup or not. And now that I'm thinking of it, since the headphone has active noise cancelation...

    Sound Notifications disabled from Bluetooth?

I have a skullcandy crusher anc that I recently paired. I only have the media sounds playing through it, all other notifications come through on the phone. I also allow phone calls to come through. I think after you are paired with Bluetooth, go into the Bluetooth settings. I think that is where...

    a decent File Manager?

I agree with Mustang, Samsung file manager is pre installed and works great. Give it a try.

The device or the app, this is a debate, sort of...

Yes, I actually prefer the BlackBerry Hub and app suite. I've also played around with the Outlook app and it works pretty close to the Hub. I'm so used to the Hub and it just works for me. On my work issued Note 8 I only use the Gmail app and I get lost in it. But it works.

The device or the app, this is a debate, sort of...

I hope you don't think I was being condescending. I was a BlackBerry user for over 15 years. I only went android about 8 months ago and I'm still learning new tricks even to this day. Every Oem has its own tweaks that may not apply to other phones. I'm grateful that there are so many...
