Yea I would do that and see just for the heck of it if there is a new firmware update for both your headsets and a new dashboard update for your car. Other than that, is everything else running good for you.

Check and see if your Bluetooth device has a firmware update available. I had the same thing with my Bluetooth Headset, after upgrading the firmware, the problem went away.

Yes you do loose the water proof cover, but the extended case is actually pretty cool for the extended battery and back plate, as long as you don't drop it in the ocean you should be just fine.

The S5 battery life has been awesome for me too, yes I'm a heavy user, so I use an extended battery that is 6400mah, after 3 days of heavy use, I'm at 81%.
