I made the jump to Swiftkey from stock, can't comment on Swype but I don't know why I never used Swiftkey before! It's so much better than the stock!! Being this is my first non-iPhone, I was hesitant to spend money on a keyboard app, but wow. Blown away how much better it is!

Weird, on mine I only see Cell Signal Bars and WiFi bars.

Some of the ones I disabled are Internet (I use Chrome instead), I have Google Play Books/Magazines/Movies disabled as well. Google+, Google Hangouts, Kid Mode, Cyberon Voice Commander, Frisbee Contacts,LinkedIn for HTC Sense, Picasa and Picasa Uploader... all disabled. I had Lookout...

My experience with the HTC One was that the first two weeks I was getting worst battery life than the iPhone 5. I dug around a lot online, learned Android, and went through each app I had installed. Disabled notifications for 98% of the apps I have, then went into the Settings / Apps / All...

Pretty sure that update was already implemented in the phones in North America before release.

Yup that stuff is already on. All settings are where they should be to get notifications both on the device and on the app... but it will not push to Android..

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knows the solution to fix Facebook notifications on Android? I've googled and tried methods like removing all devices from Facebook account, removing it from the phone and nothing works! I used to receive them just fine on iOS but can't get them anymore...

Yeah I can faintly hear that. So there's no way to hear it louder than that? Kinda silly, but I hope they are able to fix it with a software update. Sent from my HTC One using Android Central Forums
