Not receiving Facebook notifications

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone knows the solution to fix Facebook notifications on Android? I've googled and tried methods like removing all devices from Facebook account, removing it from the phone and nothing works!

I used to receive them just fine on iOS but can't get them anymore.. any help would be great!

You're better off. We as humans have much more important things to be doing then wasting are time on facebook.

Go to settings/apps/Facebook

Make sure 'show notifications' is checked

Also make sure auto sync is on.

Yup that stuff is already on. All settings are where they should be to get notifications both on the device and on the app... but it will not push to Android..

You've probably already tried to reboot it im guessing.
Uncheck 'fast boot' under settings/ Power . Then reboot it

I don't have fast boot enabled and have rebooted several times before. To me I've pretty much done everything I could find online but just no luck.

I'm new to the HTC One, and I have the exact same problem.
I'm following your responses to see any ideas!
(It seems my FB Messages come through decently, but the notifications are delayed if they come in at all).

I had a similar issue and realised that the Facebook App was on my SD card and not the phone. After moving it the the phone the notifications work again.

You need to go to your Facebook app - account settings - notifications - e-mail notifications then check important notifications about you or activity you've missed instead of the bottom one then go back and you will be able to check all the push notifications. (Just done it on my Nexus 5). Had the same issue when i had my z1,htc one,s4 and this.

I solved this problem on my HTC ONE. I tried everything, really everything, and then I unnistalled google play services and installed it again,and then i installed Push Notifications Fixer that needs root and that was it, now everything works like a charm.
