OK I must be doing something wrong. How do I extract the "stock_root67.tar"? What I downloaded was "stock_root67.7z" this is not extractable via winzip. At least not on my PC.

I know this is an old thread but has anyone found any alternatives to SMS2PC? While I don't mind purchasing an app I'd like to find a free alternative first to test. I downloaded a free app "Mightytxt" it works except I get multiple (duplicate) msgs on the PC when some responds to me.

At the Direction of Mojave I found Go SMSpro. It can be customized so it has no Bubbles. Is Google voice a voice to txt application only or does it allow manual texting? I don't want to put others thew the pain and suffering of me speaking though my text messages when I'm at the office or just...

I tried that and it didn't seem to do anything other than allow me to send. Incoming messages did not appear in that interface. I may have failed somewhere in the settings?
