6.0 Marshmallow: Play Movies Adoptable Storage, External storage must be installed for this download

Earlier this month, I received a notification that Marshmallow was ready to be installed, so I did so. After updating, I remembered a post on AC about the ability to format your SD card as internal storage. I bought a SanDisk Ultra 128GB Ultra Micro SDXC UHS-I/Class 10 Card specifically for my...

Is the Moto X second generation still viable?

That was my thought. If for nothing else, cash price is $299, versus AT&T's next pricing is 18.90/month * 30 months = $567. Then, you take other factors into account, like bloatware.

Is the Moto X second generation still viable?

I'm looking to upgrade my phone, but $400 for the new X Pure still seems too high for me. I don't want to go too cheap, though, and Motorola still sells the X2 for $299. I love my Moto X first generation model, but it doesn't have enough memory and the battery is shot.

    What's your next phone?

On the Android Central forums? BLASPHEMY! I love My Moto X 2013. I love the pure android and I love the few customizations Motorola did make. But battery's shot and the memory is full. I looked at the GS6 Active, since I'm on AT&T, and I was impressed with the hardware, but not with Samsung's...

Stick a fork in us folks

https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/prod_answer_detail/a_id/108264I love my Moto X. I got it 2 years ago, back when they came with a free Skip and 3 skip dots. A couple days after I ordered, they started a promo where you got a free Sol Republic earbuds, which I was able to...

    Android without data?

Well, it turns out it doesn't matter too much. My dad is going back to his old phone because he doesn't like having to recharge it daily. Posted via Android Central App

    Android without data?

Actually, it could, once the bill comes.

    Android without data?

That's what I'm trying to figure out, if AT&T will allow that.

    Android without data?

Is it possible to use an android phone without paying a monthly data fee? We're on AT&T. My dad's phone was an old Samsung Solstice (a not-quite-smart and not-quite-dumb phone) that, with funkiness involved with my sister using my dad's line to upgrade her iPhone and the people at the store did...

    MotoMaker and Skip Questions

Alright, got it. And as for my second question, Skip is still being offered free when bought through MotoMaker. Unfortunately, on MotoMaker, I'm getting a message that I'm not eligible for an upgrade. On AT&T's website, it says I am. Going to the AT&T store later today to work it out.

    MotoMaker and Skip Questions

I asked someone from the live chat on Motorola's website. Felt like I was talking to a computer. According to them, you can only customize when you order through MotoMaker or if you purchase an auth code from AT&T. The first "person" I talked to, I asked if I could order through Sam's Club, and...

    MotoMaker and Skip Questions

I really love the Moto X (I've had the Backflip, Bravo, and Atrix 2, so I am used to and like the Motorola UI), but it's $200 online for the upgrade. Sam's club is offering the phone for $175, but you only get the choice of white or black. I thought I've heard of some way of sending the phone...

    Problem accessing files

Within the last week or so, my phone started using the default ringtone and notification. I went to the settings to change it back to my custom tones, but they were not listed among the possibilities. I shut down and restarted my phone, but that didn't work. I just formatted my microSD card...

After ICS Upgrade, "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped"

Thanks! That seems to have done the trick. At first, my phone didn't want to re-add my account, letting me sign in, and not showing up on the list of accounts. Just had to shut my phone down and try it again, then that worked.
