Lets Be Honest Here G3's Screen Isn't GREAT.

In all fairness, I had a sick day today. Nothing better than suffering from a cold and making pictures of my devices ;-)

    LG G3 Lag. The truth?

Re: Lag. The truth? Just something to consider when you play with it again :-) ...would of course be disappointing when it already was unchecked ;-)

    LG G3 Lag. The truth?

Re: Lag. The truth? There's kind of a "two step system" with brightness. If you put it to 100 % but leave "Auto" ticked it will still be considerable darker than when you untick it. The difference is quite substantial (in my darkened room it's actually pretty extreme). It might have been...

LG G3 Turning off Android Smileys

This might be a very silly question, how can I turn off these green Android smileys in messages on the G3? It's not even that I just dislike them, the problem is much more that I can't tell them apart. Thanks in advance!

Why I think LG got it wrong

I didn't even know of LG making phones for a long time, what got me interested in the G2 was actually the price. It offered so much for a much lower price than other phones. And it's still the same for the LG3! The price in combination with that big screen on a phone of the size of the M8 led...

I have none of these issues. I'm sorry to hear of yours.

    LG G3 Lag. The truth?

Re: Lag. The truth? Coming from Windows Phone without ever owning an Android device before I'm not sure what lag is to be expected. I however experience some stutter rarely when I do a lot of things at the same time, but it's always shorter than the transition animations on Windows Phone...

Lets Be Honest Here G3's Screen Isn't GREAT.

The upper one is an iPad Air, the lower one obviously the G3. Both pictures taken with brightness at max in the same conditions. The brownish tint was made by the camera, and as you can see it's about the same on both devices. In reality they both just look white in my eyes. Edit: Give me a...

Lets Be Honest Here G3's Screen Isn't GREAT.

I own the European 32 GB G3 variant and as mentioned don't notice a yellow tint.

I don't see it either. I compared it to my iPad Air, to my 24 inch Dell screen and to my 27 inch Asus screen. If anything it's more of a blue tint. But then again, I'm not an expert in this, I like the screen very much how it is.

Only that the XDA thread is now on page 59. I would think that all these people would have found the bad app, but... sorry, it's the frustration that tries to force me getting sarcastic.

Good news! I used the LG desktop software to make a backup of my phone, but when I wanted to restore it after the hard-reset it told me it doesn't have a backup saved! So at least it will be a real hardreset with a new set-up. I'm at the same glad that I was forced to it like this, and...

Yeah, it just turned off again. I'll try a hardreset with the LG backup, and if that not works a hardreset with setting up everything from scratch. And this now that I've gotten the Quick Circle cover, which I find incredibly awesome ;-)

I've got an answer from LG, nothing new or helpful from them.
