No i couldn't delete from there. I selected the app icon and moved it upper right to the trash then selected delete.

Well I deleted that HP print app, whatever it was. Then restarted the phone. I tried doing that twice before and still could not print. Third time's the charm? We'll see.

Something I've done has disabled direct printing from my Pixel 5a to our hone HP Laserjet. It worked for me until I installed the HP Print Service Plug In app. Now if I try to print I see a screen asking for a password. I dug around and found one that maybe it but that didn't work. And asking...

There's alot in the Android OS I don't comprehend 🫤 and this is one of them. Some combination of swipes(?) evokes all the running (?) apps, and then i swipe up to close them. Can't figure it out. Gotta be a short between the ears.[emoji2955]

That seems like a backward way of doing things. The icons are not the apps, they are merely placeholders and pointers for the actual apps. If I wanted to group all my (for example) weather apps into one "place" I'd first create the folder "Weather" then move the icons into that folder. All of...

Nothing like that. I can't figure out what invokes it, some combination of swiping that appears to involve the lower right corner of the face of the phone (Pixel 5a) and the screen shrinks down to about 70% of full size and the other running (?) apps appear one at a time as I "flick" the up...

Hmm, I found only one file manager - "Files by Google" so it's not 3rd party.

No booster. Got a couple file manager apps. Why, would they interfere?

Occasionally, on my Pixel 5a, I can close all the running apps with a side swipe ... but only by accident. I can't deliberately get the combination of touches & swiping that invokes this. What's the combo for doing that. The "Help" built in by GOOGLE isn't any help.

I have had both a Samsung phone and a Samsung tablet. I prefer pure Android phones and tablets, they are a better deal.
