If you are planning to use the keyboard cover, then definitely get the Tab S7 series. If not guess Tab S6 would be enough if the savings is really significant

Many people have migrated to China made android phones. Samsung no longer the go to manufacturer when people are looking for an android flagship.

I believe everyone is talking about using DeX on Tab S4 itself and not connected to an external monitor. So your USB port is available for charging.

My Note 9 is still on 1 Aug patch... at least 3 to 4 updates behind others. Not sure how they managed their software updates seriously

It seems that in your heart, you really want an iPhone, that's why you are searching for everything bad about the Note 9, and you will scrutinize all these bad things if you do get a Note 9, further convincing yourself it's not as good. I will say go for the iPhone.
