Yep. Just got the update by removing my Verizon SIM. Really annoying that I had to do that considering majority of the population would never even think about pulling a SIM to get an update, or even knowing an update exists. Security patches are important, but Lenovo by their track record...

I have the bluetooth/wifi only Gear S2 and I still don't have the update. My phone's on Verizon if that means anything.

I still don't have it either, on Verizon.

Is there any way to fix this? A couple months ago I could read, respond and view a conversation all on the S2 itself. Now I can only read the notifications. When I try and do anything else to interact with the notification it just gives the checkmark and says "Check your phone".

Got updates to Motorola Update Services and Motorola Boot Services today. Hopefully that's a sign that it's coming soon. I have Verizon by the way. Posted via the Android Central App

Re: Why don't I have all of my Facebook Contacts on my Moto X 1st gen? If you have a Mac, you can add a Google account under Internet Accounts in the System Settings and use Contacts to sync with your Google Contacts. After you've done that, you can add your Facebook account as one as well...

Resurrecting this post because my phone is now going through the same issue. It's been happening for a few weeks now give or take a few days.

For the past week or so, the Android System has been taking up a significant portion of my battery, even more than my screen has. Does anyone know why? I've cleared my cache partition in the recovery mode as well and that still doesn't seem to help. Moto X 2013 with 4.4.4 by the way.

Happens to me a good bit. I just force close the Android Wear app from my phone and it seems to do the trick.

It's been a few days since I last used my Nexus 9. I picked it up today and noticed I had an update 5.0.2 ready to download. Is this old news? Last thing I knew was that the Nexus 9 was stuck on 5.0.1 until they would update to 5.1.1.

I would say 2.3 to 4.0 Android had a huge switch at this point. I think 4.0 to 4.1 was also a pretty big update with the introduction to Google Now and Project Butter. Those two things have really grown these past couple years.

Cleared the cache through recovery earlier, took 20 minutes and did not help a thing. Just wiped my device unfortunately so hopefully this fixes the problem.
