My text message notifications won't vibrate on my Moto 360. The notification card comes up, but no vibration like with my other notifications.

I double checked in the standard text message app on my Galaxy Note 3 that it's set to ring and vibrate. Not sure why this is the only app that won't vibrate when a notification comes in.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Same problem here. I have a Note 3 using Google Hangouts and my Moto 360 will not vibrate for incoming text.

OK, so my Sprint Galaxy Note 3 just got a software update this evening.

Now I get a very light vibration along with my text message notification card. I guess the update fixed something behind the scenes.

I do wish there was a setting to adjust the intensity of vibrations.

I had this happening for certain apps (no vibration notification). I simply disabled notifications for the app (on the phone through app manager) and then reenabled them and it did the trick.

You have to make sure that when you sync your phone and watch over bluetooth you then set your phone as a trusted device, then it will vibrate for any email or text or phone call. Try unsyncing and resyncing then a notification should pop up asking if it is a trusted device.

There's no way to set your phone as a trusted device for your watch. You can set the watch as a trusted device for your phone, but that doesn't have anything to do with texts not vibrating.

I recommend Light Flow from the Play Store. It will let you set different vibrations for different apps, including text messages.

Happens to me a good bit. I just force close the Android Wear app from my phone and it seems to do the trick.

Yep. I have had it happen before (although rare- maybe twice ever) and a watch and phone reboot solve it. I do hope such bugs get squashed in the future.
