I did get the S10, unfortunately missed out on some big discounts but still got the 512Gb for the price of 128. I'm enjoying it so far. Not really missing iOS and I have an iPad for anything specific. My only real gripe is the way ads present themselves, I guess I just need to find a good blocker.

Thanks for your reply, Pixel 3 was certainly in the top 3 of the shortlist I made. In fact it was leading until I found out that I can get significant discounts from Samsung. So I think I’m going for the regular S10 512Gb.

Oh and a quick edit: another must have is the ability to connect to a smart watch and do Google Pay.

The iPhone 6 is a big contender, especially if it comes in phablet form. Having played with OS Yosemite, the integration will be great to have. I doubt my next phone will be Samsung, more likely to consider a HTC M8 or an LG. Or just get the Binatone Brick and carry an iPad.

Just an update, I now run Exchange email through an app called "Cloudmagic" which is a nice email client. Now I can have a screen lock of my choice.

I too have random hits from maps/weather. Sometimes it thinks I never leave home. Monday whilst working at Wimbledon for the tennis (where the 3g/4g is terrible anyway) weather thought I was in the Shetland Islands (although I had been browsing about the shetlands the day before, maybe linked?)...

For me, this is one aspect of iOS that is leaps and bounds ahead of most other OS'. In fact, if iPhone 6 is a little bigger than the 5S, I'm going back. If I want to "personalise" my phone, I'll just change the background. The screen aside, I struggle to find anything else to praise on this...

Do you have an adaptor to plug into a PC or Mac to check? Might be way to start troubleshooting.

It was tongue in cheek, but if cloud services were better and 3/4G services were more widespread, I wouldn't care what the internal capacity was.

I found that adding an exchange account for work emails requires me to have PIN protection or better. A bit annoying.
