No, what I meant is, he can pay the extra $150 for it as a device equipped with 128 GB internally, because that's probably what the difference on cost would be over the 32GB device today, same as Apple and the different iPOD /iPhone models, due to larger memory capacity.

So if Sammy made only a 128 GB model, it would be far more than the $700 they charge today for the 32GB model, is what I'm saying.

It would be $100 more then the 32gb model considering most companies offer it for $50 increase to double storage

Yes 64 GB phones are around..

What you aren't getting is we are saying 128 GB won't be the standard any time soon. By standard we mean the smallest size you can get (like 16 GB ). We aren't saying they won't eventually make one that big... But we are saying it won't be the standard.

You're saying it's going to be the standard (aka smallest size) available soon... Please post proof of where you're getting that information.

Once you post the proof that it will be the base model I'll believe you.. But till then I won't simply because of what dpham posted. Manufacturers made bigger phones... And they don't sell nearly as many as the base 16 / 32 GB models... Since most don't want 128 mainly because they don't need or want to pay for that.

There may be special circumstances, but major manufacturers like apple and Samsung are not likely to have 128gb base anytime soon.

It was tongue in cheek, but if cloud services were better and 3/4G services were more widespread, I wouldn't care what the internal capacity was.
