No, it happens whenever. After a reboot it say actually says "enter PIN after restart" (and it won't let me take a screenshot like the one above). This has nothing to do with a reboot.

The security policy is to randomly disable fingerprint unlock for no apparent reason a few times a day? Man, what an incredibly stupid policy.

Has anybody gotten this message (Galaxy S10+ with most recent update), which randomly and briefly disables the ability to unlock my phone with my fingerprint? There seems to be no rhyme nor reason to it - it happens two or three times a day, and happens at completely different times every day.

I don't get the three dots, but it does scroll through all of my sharing options as I swipe. The top row is suggestions for specific people, the bottom row is for apps.

The latest update on my Galaxy 10+ seems to have broken so many things I loved about my phone. One that really bothers me is that almost all my sharing options seems to have disappeared. From the photo gallery, for example, I used to be able to scroll and see all kinds of options, like Outlook...

After a pretty beefy update a couple of weeks ago, my Galaxy S10+ is losing battery much more rapidly than it did previously, and it's taking right at 50% longer to charge, using a fast wireless charger. I'm not sure if there's an app that's causing the drain, but I'm guessing it's something...

That would make sense if it hadn't happened 3 nights in a row. And it's not just once, it's every time I unlock my phone, until the next morning. It seems to kick in around 7 p.m. my time.

Somehow I managed to alter a security setting of some sort, making it impossible for me to use my fingerprint to unlock my phone. Oddly, it only seems to happen at night. I can use my fingerprint all day, but for some reason it does this in the evening. Does anybody know how I can get rid of this?

I've been using the Google Chat app on a Galaxy S10+ for several months. It's been quirky, but the bugs have always resolved themselves at some point. For the last three weeks or so, with one recipient specifically, my outgoing texts never get past the "delivered" message, even after she's read...

And after 5 days of "chat not supported by your carrier", phone went back to "trying to verify number" for 2 days. And now back to connected and working fine. For now. I'm surprised Google puts their name on something so clunky.

Agree 100%. My first smart phone was a Palm Pre, and the possibilities of customizing it were literally endless. They actively encouraged 3rd-party "patches" to customize it. It's probably why I'll never be comfortable with Apple.
