Need and want are two different things. A lot of people don't need to upgrade but they WANT to. Some just like to have the latest gadget, some have a very specific need and some may have a phone that is heavily used and ready for replacement.
For me the camera was the big draw to move up from...
While I'm still not sold on the looks of the back of the EVO LTE I do love the fact that it is immediately identifiable. With the narrow red kickstand and glossy top you can spot this phone a mile away; it truly stands out from most other phones. Even with a case on the phone you can tell it...
Without question I will go to Best Buy. My last 4 phones (3 being EVOs) were from Best Buy and the experience was flawless each time. I love the way they handle pre-orders and have never had an issue. With the original EVO launch it took a couple of hours in the store when I picked up the...
I also had the Best Buy Pt (by Seidio) on my 3D and loved it. The case for the LTE is the same and every bit as good. I didn't have any issues with scratches. It was difficult to remove the first time but once you take it off a couple times it slides on easily. The key is knowing how to...
I pre-ordered at the Best Buy in Columbia, MD near where I work. I received an email this afternoon about 2:00 p.m. (similar to the email I received shortly after pre-ordering) notifying me my EVO was ready to be picked up! It also said I had to pick up by Saturday 5/26 or my pre-order will be...
Supposedly the Beats software will recognize Beats headphones and provide improved sound over regular headphones...

Simply put, LTE and HD Voice aside the 4G LTE ROCKS. I had the original 4G and now the 3D and the compelling reason for my desire to upgrade is the larger screen and camera. I also love the fact that it is thinner.
I rarely talk on my phone so the HD Voice is not a biggie and I seldom use...
As Kered said, the $10 is not for LTE, it is a premium for all the (unlimited) data you're likely to suck down with a smartphone. The EVO line is a media consumption (data hog) device by design with its big screen, big camera, media focus, etc.
I think what is being discussed here is when the phone locks up. In that case you can hold the power button down all day and the phone remains unresponsive requiring a battery pull. Seems the One uses the power/volume as a reset which is a relief to many.
+1 I came from a TouchPro to the EVO and was worried not to have a physical keyboard. With a 4.3" screen typing is a breeze. And the clincher for me was Swype, OMG now I can actually text with the best, and with one hand. In a word, AWESOME! :D
No real difference except instant rebate (If Sprints instant rebate offer expires). BB and RS have access to Sprints system and your plan and they know your upgrade eligibility.
There may be some limitations at non-Sprint stores but my last 3 phones were from BB and the service was great.
Not for me
I've always expected the iPhone to make it to Sprint (nice to see some fresh buzz about it) but never thought twice about it. I think the iPhone is a great phone but I like to tinker too much to ever consider it for myself.
