Hey if you don't mind me asking, how did you manage to do that? Just hold down on the notification and it gave you the prompt? Cuz when I hold down on the notification, it "changes" to the app icon, guess it's showing me which app is the notification from. Dunno where else to hold/click.

Can someone please point me in the right direction re: tried and trusted method for rooting 802T with official 4.4.2. Tried the search but there's so much discussion on what doesn't work and what might brick the phone. So I'm hoping someone who has done it can point me in the right direction...

Looking into it further, it's the widget that appears when unlocking the screen. Even if I remove the widget, it reappears. Annoying as ****. Guess I might root the damn thing afterall.

I've narrowed down my choice to Moto G. However, the chinese phones are still in the peripheral. Zopo, THC, Xiomi, Haipei, apparently the best of the rest lot.
