Dropped my phone (S3) from about 4ft up onto a driveway. Screen was not broken. Tried to turn phone back on, but screen stays black. No backlight. It still responds to touch, as I can answer a call (from knowing where the button is). What is it likely to be?

I guess nevermind... I called Verizon to try and hook up a S3 to the line, but they said I would have to purchase another plan because they could not hookup a smartphone to the plan.... So, what was the point of having unlimited data if you can't have a phone that uses data (to a useful extent)?
