Yes, the 84MB was from Settings/Apps just prior to uninstalling. Maybe there's a bug in Real Racing 3 - it didn't report the size of its extra downloads to the OS?

Available storage increased by 1.14GB after uninstalling the racing program. The program certainly did download a lot of extra stuff when it was first run, but that was apparently not included in the App info/Data numbers.
