Fixed. I can't find the delete button on the mobile. 😡

It's working again but I'm not sure why. I did as you suggested, that didn't seem to do it, it upgraded the system's software, that seemed to make it worse since it wouldn't respond at all, and then I went through the settings just seeing if everything was okay and it's suddenly started working...

Just so you know, the volume came back for awhile without a factory reset. But then it disappeared again. By then though, I got a new S10+ for Christmas. Thank you again!

I have an S8 running Android v. 9, kernel 4.4.153. My Android Messages app is up to date. I want to read my text messages on my computer, but all the instructions say to turn on "Messages for web". I don't have that under my Settings.
