yea, my ipad 1st gen won't charge, but the newer ipad mini on the lightning cable charges pretty quick, thanks for the link, I was debating after I wrote this post, maybe I should invest in a USB hub, one that has a power supply, might be worthwhile since I have one out of 8 ports available...
