I didn't have that issue with my hardware 002 model, my first EVO. A month into owning it though, I had to have it replaced because of lines on the screen. My hardware 003 model, the second EVO, does have some light escaping from the bottom that you can see in the dark.

so you just fix it easily from the web, editing your contacts in google. you create a group ahead of time in Address Book. That group will sync up too. Then from the web, in gmail/voice/etc in the contacts, you select the ones not in the group and delete.

ok in front of my mac now, go to the Address Book application -> Preferences -> Accounts -> On My Mac -> Synchronize with Google.

Setup your Apple address book application to sync with Google, then your contacts will download over the air to your new phone when you enter in your Google account. I'm not at a computer right now, but it's in the Mail preferences.

It'll all work out eventually. Supplies will come back in higher numbers, and from more sources. The end product will become more consumable and others will compete with Apple at a lower price. The consumer will win in the end.

I use it occasionally on the iPad and love it, when I had an iPhone too, I was able to use it on there (and didn't have to pay for a separate version, as it was coded to work on both). It's definitely worth it, though I haven't yet decided whether I want to pony up 30 bucks again for the...

Got mine first thing in the morning on June 4th too, didn't have any problems up until yesterday when the screen decided to have a couple of permanent lines on it. Got it replaced today, and now i'm on hardware 003.

just wondering, as i've seen more than one mention of this about task killing apps being worse off to use - why is that?

check to see if you're phone is constantly checking for a non-existant GSM signal. change GSM auto prl to CDMA auto - Android Forums turning that off made my phone run *much* longer

No I didn't have to put up any deposit. I looked into it further and realized it was just for buying the 3G/4G hotspot a while back. I had totally forgotten about it.
