no, it blinks intermittently i am not sure of the frequency. with lightflow you can adjust it.

download lightflow and you will be a happy individual. i have blue for all text messages. i have white for all social network messages, green for all emails. and red for all missed calls.

you might wanna try rebooting your phone and try again. sometimes i get hangups when switching from 4g to 3g and wifi on and off.
