Use S-Pen to Remind during Audio Playback?

Not showing up as an option for me (I get "Advance", "Pause", "Do Nothing")

Use S-Pen to Remind during Audio Playback?

Am I missing something or is it not possible to set one of the gestures (e.g., double click) of the bluetooth S-Pen as equivalent to the "Back" button during audio playback? Assuming it's not, a secondary question is why does Samsung often drop the ball with software (i.e., this seems like an...

    first swim, first thoughts

Thanks. I just mean can you set it to vibrate at regular intervals rather than one single goal. So, I swim in 10 lap sets and just would want a reminder after I finish each set of 10. Can it do that?

    first swim, first thoughts

Just to confirm--you can do countdown repeat now? (This didn't seem to be available in the Timer app). Or lap repeat? E.g., give a vibration every 10 laps and then keep going until you stop?

    first swim, first thoughts

Thanks--that's a helpful report. Could you give a sense of what data the watch gives you during the swim and what alarms are available? (E.g., could you set it to give a vibration alert every 10 laps?)

What happened to "Spritz" technology for Gear S2

Before I switched phones, I had some news app (WSJ? BBC?) that used "Spritz" technology--words appear one at a time on the watch's screen and they switch very quickly. It's was a great way to read very fast on the watch. Anyway, the app didn't carry over to my new phone and now nothing...

App to Make a Note and Have it Show Up Somewhere on Phone?

It'd be nice to have those options, but as far as I can tell, neither OneNote or Keep have Tizen apps for the watch and it's not possible to save a draft of a message on the watch either.

App to Make a Note and Have it Show Up Somewhere on Phone?

I'm sometimes in situation where I have my watch, but no phone and no wi-fi, and want to make a note (and it'd be awkward to make a voice recording). Would appreciate it if someone could suggest an app to do this (I'm find it pretty easy to use the handwriting recognition keyboard on the...

Keep display on with full brightness at all times?

Personal quirk, but it drives me crazy to notice the display automatically dimming and then taking a split second to come on to full brightness when I look down at my wrist. Is there any setting I'm missing to enable full on all the time?

    Countdown Repeat Function or App?

FWIW, there is a Tizen app called something like "Interval Timer" which lets you set a work and rest period and repeats, so could be used for what I was looking for. However, it wouldn't load onto the Galaxy Watch, so not sure if older apps need to be updated in some way to work.

Is this thing $300 better than my S2?

After a day of wearing the new watch, I'm copletely torn on whether to keep it or return it. I like the quality of the watch face, it's noticably speedier than S2, it's fixed some long-standing annoyances (e.g., you can adjust how long last app stays active on screen, compared to the...

    Swim Tracking?

FWIW, now that I've gotten the watch and had a chance to play with it, there is a "Swim Workout" widget that tracks time and lengths swam. I'll be curious to hear if anyone gets a chance to try it in the pool (I might return mine).

More Nice Touches and Improvements to Appreciate

-Smart Switch pretty much carries over everything now (in comparison to last time, where there were no widgets). -DeX homescreen got ported over (that's pretty cool). -Bluetooth devices carried over (super cool--wonder if Wi-Fi passwords will as well). -Phone is least slippery model since...

No Longer Able to Use Swipe to Unlock if Using Samsung Pay?

On my Note 8, I had no security to open my phone (just swiping) while using Iris Scan to secure Samsung Pay. I remember it was a little bit of a hassle to set it up this way, but that definitely was how it worked (i.e., it wasn't that I was always in a "Secure" location or anything). This...
