I have. They told me to turn the app on through the app manager. As far as I know we can only turn off or FORCE STOP an app. In any event, I cleared cached, uninstalled, and everything else and still no luck.

Hard to recall, but if recall correctly I went over 4 months without an update then got one and shortly after I noticed there was an issue with the app/alerts.

Just yesterday as I am driving my Bluetooth shuts off and disconnects. I deleted it from my car, reinstalled and paired but no luck. I restarted my phone, no luck. When connected to Bluetooth headphones, it seems to be ok, just while in my car seems to be the issue. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hi. If you have the s7 active via ATT you are still on Nougat. Oreo has not been released for us yet. There was an update a few weeks back for the messaging app which is probably what you are now seeing. Unfortunately, with the update for the messaging app, they did away with some options.
