I don't know if i just want it to be better but it seems battery life is way improved. i have no way to tell. I went down 20% since the upgrade yesterday doing my same usage.

I notice now that i keep my phone in power savings mode that icon is always on the top left. I cannot clear it from the notification center. Not much else.

Make sure you have location services turned off when not using it. There is a bug in there.
