I recently updated my Samsung J5, which came with Android 5.0 installed, to Android 6.0 (via my carrier). If, for some reason, I do a reset to factory defaults will that wipe out my update? I am guessing that the factory ROM was not overwritten with 6.0 so that probably it will return to 5.0. I...

Just figured out how to do it. I opened "Herramientas". Once opened I pushed on the title bar and it opened and editor. Just changed the name. Cool !

Just saw this post and gave it a whirl. Was a little more involved than that but in essence that seems to have done the trick. Have to wait and see if the annoying update messages stop coming every day, but the apps appear to be disabled, so I think we're good to go. Thanks for that response.

I just bought a new Samsung Galaxy J5 with lollipop 5.1 . The colors suck. Installed a theme called Android 6.0 and then changed the background and lock screens. So much better. So yeah, change the theme and background to better suit your mood (took that from Sanatana/Rob Thomas - Smooth, lol)!
