    How do I stop software update message?

    Installing apps, isn't the same as software updates on the phone. Accept the updates while you are on wifi, or in good service area, and it will help your fun continue to function properly.

    At one point you must've created them. Just delete them if you don't use them.

    If power cycling doesn't work. Reset your network settings, or throw the phone in and out of airplane mode. Then retry your wifi!

    It's clearly not completely powered down, if you're using data in the background.

    If you attached you're phone number for password recovery, you can go to forgot password, and get the code texted to you. Which will allow you to reset the password.

    Go into settings, apps, and try resetting app preferences. If that doesn't go to about phone, tap on the phone model, and check for internal updates.

    Check that your phone is connected to WiFi/ Data, if so, retry entering the Fb password.

    Reset your network settings. Settings > Back-Up and Reset > Reset Network Settings. Go back into your WiFi and re-try the password. If it doesn't work, try the default password on your router.

    Adds popping up every few seconds

    Those sound like 3rd party app pop-ups. Do you have any cleaner apps, or external weather apps, or news apps downloaded onto your phone? If so go to settings > Apps > [Downloaded App] > Uninstall.

    Go into your text messaging settings, and make sure MMS is checked. So you can receive multi-media messages.
