Why do i see folders on my gallery with 0 images

[Android Central Question]

When i go to my gallery on my lg stylo 2 i'll see folders with a thumnail but it says that theres 0 images. The thumnails are images from my quick memos but i cant seem to be able to delete the file

At one point you must've created them. Just delete them if you don't use them.

If you don't need those memos, what happens if you try deleting those folders?

You can have folders that show empty but in fact have system files in them.. If you have hide folders function, try that, just hide them.

Thank you for you all's help. My phone did not have a "hide" function but what i did was go to time line and delete the photo manually in that way rather than trying to open the folder. Nevertheless i really appreciate yalls help.
