Maybe I'm missing something here. As I understand it, my S5's heart rate monitor should be able to work with the garmin ant+ soft strap. When in the S Health app I have it perform a "detect accessories" and it doesn't find it. Did I misunderstand this and/or am I doing something wrong?

Did you ever get an answer for this? I'm trying to get S Health on my S5 to recognize my Garmin heart rate strap and getting nothing. thanks.
