I'm the one who originally made the post. It seems to not happen when I turn adaptive brightness off. This feature is really useful for me so I wanted to keep it on. I'm wondering if it's a software or hardware issue. My guess is the former since I haven't had this phone for more than a month.

I currently have a relatively new Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra ( SM-N986W). The screen on my phone randomly dims really dark than within a few seconds, it returns to its original brightness. This happens a few times a day regardless of where I am or the brightness of the area around me.

Might be the new ROM, I did make a nandroid backup before flashing so I'll try backtracking to see if that is the problem.

Happens with any kind of earbuds

No functions on the headphones, plain Bose earbuds that work on my phone perfectly fine but not on my tablet.

Definitely micro USB, I changed cables also and no program will work because the PC won't even recognize my phone. It's been working perfectly fine until I changed my APN.
