When I first plug in my headphones, it works perfectly fine then stops working soon after. I have no idea why. It's one thing to not work completely, but something else when it works for few seconds perfectly fine then suddenly stop working for no reason.

Things I've Tried:
Force Restart
Jamming in Headphones to make sure it is in
Clean the jack
Search endlessly on google

Device: Galaxy Tab 2 10.1
ROM: CM 12.1 20151219

Do the headphones have other functions, like a microphone, or a remote control for pause, play, etc.? If so, then try a plain headphone that is used only for listening to music. Does that cause problems as well? If not, then I suspect there's a problem with the part of the headphone jack that transmits signals for the mic and/or the remote control, and it's erroneously sending a pause command to the phone.

No functions on the headphones, plain Bose earbuds that work on my phone perfectly fine but not on my tablet.

Does this happen with any headphone you plug in, or just the Bose?

Has it been like this for a while, or did it just start? Did it coincide with flashing a new ROM? I'd guess it's either a hardware problem with the jack, or some idiosyncrasy with the ROM.

Might be the new ROM, I did make a nandroid backup before flashing so I'll try backtracking to see if that is the problem.
