I have had problems with changing ringtone and notification tones as well, I change them and they do not change even after restarting. hopefully they come up with a patch for this weird stuff we are all seeing sooner than later.

Airhurdle, I agree entirely with you. It's not just samsung either, I feel like it is an unsaid rule as an industry standard the last couple years. At one point they soldered the batteries into the phones.

I cleared all cache and data from the fb and fb messenger app. I also did it for chrome because some people said chrome could be the problem. I then Uninstalled all three and went a day without them....got my battery life back right away...it even charges faster again. Now I am 48 hours after...

I email a lot on my phone and from one person it threads well then to go back find a certain one in the thread and forward to someone else is a pain to find and I'm always scared I forwarded the wrong one in the string.... then because it's the same people the forwarded one end up in the string...

I use handcent and my shift and it works great I haven't had any texting problems since and its a fun app there are a lot of customizations to it. Even if the stock app worked flawlessly I would still use handcent now that I know how awesome it is. Oh and its free
