Hey everyone... Curious if anyone has noticed their Note5 screen being burned in. I was working with my wife's phone last night and upgrading it to Nougat and noticed a very faint static image of her home screen. My first thought is to reach out to VZW to see if they'd be willing to swap...

Sideload like I did and all is well. Otherwise, wow and start over.

Done! No issues at all.. Not much of a sideloader myself, but, this was pretty easy. I'm [easily] impressed. Now that's done, I'm sure VZW will release it tomorrow!

Anyone on 7.1.2 Beta get the update from VZW Yet? I really don't want to, but, I'm seriously considering dropping from the beta. Does sideloading "K" work from BETA?

Re: 7.1.2 update I sure hope this isn't because VZW is trying to integrate their new launcher/app called AppFlash (I think that's it..). Such garbage they are supposedly rolling out to all customers. Also on 7.1.2 beta and Verizon and have not received update.

Updated today, as well, and the resulting version match emcis's post above... I believe there is no concern about the legitimacy of this update... Would like to see more info from Verizon on specifics.

yea! I tried testing WiFi calling to my OOMA phone and I got a message indicating "this line" or "the number you are calling does not support WiFi calling......" WTH is this all about?

WARNING..... I just upgraded my S5 to Android 6.... If you have previously set up a lock-screen pattern and/or PIN but DO NOT CURRENTLY use it, refresh your memory on what they are. I did not have lock-screen security enabled prior to upgrading but post-upgrade, it was set. Thanks...
