Bad news: America is doomed. Good news: My Pixel XL arrived.

I was confused as to why you had to choose between retrieving a package and eating, then eventually figured out you meant you drove to your house during your lunch break, hah. Luckily I live in an apartment complex where the front desk accepts and holds all packages for you in a locked room.

Hopefully America will still exist by the end of today so I can enjoy my Pixel tomorrow.

I added a bit of additional clarification to my post. The reason is that it matters less if something is newsworthy and more if it will bring in more viewers and increase ad revenue. It may be insane, but it's the kind of world we live in.

Wow. Well, it took barely a day for my Google Home to arrive after being shipped. My Pixel XL order is also now listed as "Processing." Here's hoping it ships as quickly as the Google Home did.

I was half-expecting to be left out of the hype train with my luck, but it looks like my order has shifted to pending status as well. Now just hopefully it doesn't end up taking a week or two to ship. >_>

Well, after 28 days my Google order shipped. ..for my Google Home device. Got an e-mail saying my order shipped and then found out it was only for that. Still stuck on pre-ordered status for my Pixel phone. Sigh.
