When I got my Samsung S9, one of the first things I did was disable some of the Samsung apps in favor of Google. So after a year I now want to enable a couple but there is no enable "button" to allow this. Any suggestions? Marie

I guess after talking to my son, and explaining carrier downscaling... not the case in all situations. Videos he sends iPhone to iPhone via text msg are NOT downscaled and my Grandson proved it with same video. Has to be a Samsung issue. I appreciate all the help. Thank you all. Marie

Thank you, scottbeamer. VLC played it the same way. I am going to send it to a friend who has an iPhone and see how it shows for her. I must have a setting wrong some where.

I tried again and it played. However Video Player is still disabled. it was very small and grainy. The extension was 3gpp nothing more. Could this have anything to do with the fact it came from an iPhone? On my son's iphone it was full screen and beautiful. Thank you. Marie

Hi, Just received a video from my son. It would not play. I discovered that the Samsung Video Player on my phone is disabled and there is NO enable button. I reinstalled and reinstalled after booting, however same issue. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you. Marie

Hi, I recently purchased the Galaxy S9, got it all set up and ran into one issue. I cannot set Quickpic as my default app for pictures. Gallery is not set as default. Every time I try to set Quickpic, I am given the Files app which, for some reason is disabled and I cannot enable. Any ideas...

Hi, Ok so I really messed up. I intended to move my Gallery albums to my SD card, however I moved them to Private Mode. I do not want them there or my phone in Private Mode. Is there any way to get my pictures back so I can turn Private Mode off? Thanks Posted via the Android Central App
