Samsung did the same thing to me. I have never installed anything not from the google store ever. Luckily sprint replaced my phone when it happened to me Posted via the Android Central App

Good. But they had to order my replacement. I even went to a large sprint store. They normally have 4 techs working at a time size shop Posted via the Android Central App

All the tech would say was that the older notes were overheating and damaging the boards. He didnt go into much detail. Only that the fix was to keep replacing the phones until they found one that didnt have the older board I had shipped my phone to samsung first and they said they wouldnt...

Had the same issue with my sprint note 4. They tech said it was a known issue and they even have me a loaner phone for a week till they could get me a replacement. Since it was a known issue they replaced it for free. Posted via the Android Central App

I have the same issue with my sprint version of this phone. Took it into the service tech and was told that this was a known issue with the sprint model. They are replacing the phone no questions asked.

Had the same issue. Took mine into sprint today, they said it was a known issue and offered to order me a new one without any hesitation.

so samsung will not even look at my phone, they say it was rooted or it failed some binary test, even though i never installed any software other than updates that were pushed.

same thing happened to me, also on sprint. I called samsung and they had me ship it back to them. I'm hoping to get an answer from them.

same here,tired new battery and factory reset. tech support had me mail it back in. Sounds like a damaged motherboard

had the same issue, non rootedd. contacted tech support and they had me ship it in. Everything i've read make rd make it sounds like the motherboard failed due to heat.

Mine started doing that 2 weeks ago. i tried factory reset and it only worked short term. I havent been able to boot now for 3 days. I shipped mine back to samsung today hopefully i will have an update this week.
