Phone screen brightness dimming after 20 mins of use

Like the title says... Lately I've been using my phone (S22) a lot more than usual. Apart from videos, the display of my phone wouldn't be on for more than 10 minutes straight with 5-10 minutes off in between (at least - I'd say my phone is probably on 10 minutes per hour through the day...

    Hi!

Sorry for the huge delay - I don't use Cinebench for CPU, I use Prime95 small FFT. This will do error checking and stress the CPU more with ~20-30% higher power consumption. I usually do this for an hour or two during tweaking, and for the final setting I let it go for 36 hours. I've done...

    Hi!

Other than making sure the best bang for the buck RAM is fast enough at build time (it usually is), I find RAM speed doesn't need attention until your 1% frame lows drop to the point you no longer enjoy gameplay. Even then, specific treatment depends on the the cause and how old the platform is...

    Hi!

Question for you - is your RAM 2133 stock and 2933 XMP, or does your RAM just run stock 2133 and you OC'd it to 2933? Asking because a lot of RAM is 2133 or 2400 with XMP (authorized overclocking profiles) which are much faster. The RAM I run at 3866 - its stock speed is 2133 C14 with XMP of...

LDAC and other codec selection in Android

So I have an S22 I bought in January, and I just got a nice headphone DAC/amp for it because the passive dongle I tried (to use the internal one I assumed would be decent like my S9) proved the internal DAC was definitely overlooked. I should have expected it'd be a waste of 10 bucks - there's...

    Hi!

Which resolution do you game at? Unless 1080p, you're likely good to wait on upgrading. I got the 5800X3D for my 3080 because I use a 240Hz monitor that's 1080p. If I were you, I'd wait to see what's after Zen 4 or Intel's 13th gen. Zen 4 is literally exactly Zen 3 with a few hundred mhz + DDR5...

    Hi!

I've got a couple, 5800X3D with 1933/3866 (RAM, timings 14:14:14 CR1) with my 3080 I got on release, Sept 2020  Obv that video card predates the 5800X3D. At the time I had a 9600K which I OC'd to 5.2Ghz all core, with RAM at 3900 (timings 14:15:15 CR2). Coincidentally to yours, I bought...

    Hi!

More hardware than software, but both. I like following new developments in CPUs/GPUs, and overclocking. I particularly like finding the maximum CPU frequency with reasonable voltages, making it 100% stable. Then overclicking RAM and optimizing all the timings (primary, secondary, tertiary)...

    Hi!

Haha yeah, the microphone is a pretty necessary part of a phone!

'How fast does your plain S22 charge with a 25 watt+ charger attached?

Its readings are as accurate as the phone's battery management system. Some older phones only update power draw every 30-60 seconds instead of 2-3, but otherwise, very accurate. AccuBattery's average current is calculated using percentage increase, time, and battery capacity. As long as a...

'How fast does your plain S22 charge with a 25 watt+ charger attached?

The charge speed remains the same below 60-70% at around 25W. This might decrease to 40-50 with 45W Obviously you didn't read my post The currents I provide are on the battery not the input...j Sheesh! edit: A+ for enthusiasm. Everything else... edit2: about your 0-20%... If, if, the...

'How fast does your plain S22 charge with a 25 watt+ charger attached?

Fast charge has the tiniest effect on battery longevity if during your charge cycles you stay within the constant current phase (it varies from internal resistance and as batteries degrade the number decreases, but usually this is below 60-70%.

45 Watt charging is just a number

My reply is exactly what you're looking for - I didn't read the whole thread, so some info might have already come up, but my post has everything in order and together. If I took out things already mentioned just for the sake of not repeating it, my piece would be senseless! So: Li-ion...

'How fast does your plain S22 charge with a 25 watt+ charger attached?

Below this writing will be a picture of the charger I bought. And before that, the tl;dr: ~3050mA charge current with 15W ~4100mA charge current with 25W What's your 25W charge speed? (this number is found during a charge cycle at some point below 50%. New batteries, or well cared for...
