I am having a problem transferring a call from the Gear S3 to my Bluetooth Headset (LG Tone Platinum) connected to my LG V20. There is an option to choose headset on the watch, but it is faded - not available. Anyone have this kind of problem? Solutions? Thanks.

Yep, the gen 2 is better hardware for sure. But, it is the same boring Android Wear experience that you can have for $100-$150 on other watches, including the original Moto 360. If you love Google Now, go for it. I am sold on the Gear S2 and Tizen.

I find that under Settings, Style, Clocks - check "Clock always on" shows the time always with a faded display to save battery power depending on the watch face being used. I prefer this always on setting.
Ok, great analysis. Do you have to have "Fwd calls to Gear" turned on to get smartphone calls sent to watch when not connected to phone? Or, does it do that by default regardless of setting on Gear S?
