is there a setting to see full watch face with turn of the wrist like original gear?

I found a fix for your problem.

At first I was gonna say your watch might be defective, but then I remembered my watch did the same thing when I first got it. But after fidling with a bunch of stuff I couldn't get it to do that same thing again. I hate little problems like this and it really bugs me until I solve it. So, I went through every setting and found out what caused it.

I hate when I would look at my watch a while after receiving a text or something and the screen would go back to the clock after it went dark. This bugged me the most was when I was reading a grocery list the wife text me. I would be looking at the list, get the milk, look at my wrist again a to see what was next and it would show the clock. So I loved the "settings" "display" "wake up screen" "last screen" feature. That way after my watch goes dark and I flick my wrist it goes right back to my grocery list text and I don't have to scroll through again and find it.

So what does this all mean for you? If you think about it the last screen you look at on watch (as long as your not in an app) will be the full clock face, you can't go back to the dim face after you see the full face. So after it goes dark and you have the "last screen" feature set, when you flick your wrist you will see the full watch face again.

You're welcome.

You are right. It works. Take some time to see what kind of hit battery power will take, however.

That's how I've been using it since 30 min after I got it and I've been averaging 50% battery in a full day. It's not always on, but I am trying out always on today.

I found the wake up setting before finding this thread, and that works but.....

What I'd really like is to leave the wake up to clock, but simply have some indication on the clock that there are new notifications. Putting the number of new notifications in parenthesis above the am/pm would suffice and not eat any significant battery.

I had same problem
Have a solution for you
On the watch
Go to settings ...display....wake up screen....select ...last screen ...
Problem solved ...
now you can choose whatever face or wallpaper you want ..it will wake up with wrist motion
Just make sure ...you return home (hit home botton before exiting watch)

You didn't read the thread.

If you go to display settings then wakeup screen and set it to last screen, as long as you leave it on the watch face it will open it up full display.

Actually the fix for this is hidden. If you go to settings>style>clocks>clock always on then you will always be on the lighter clock turn wrist it goes to regular clock. You would think it would be under display setting but no let's hide it under style setting. It doesn't use much more battery. Hope this helps.

So, you've tested this with everything else running? I would think that if Always On would get you about the same battery life with all else being equal, it would have been enabled out of the box. Having the screen go dim is clearly a battery saving feature.

no i didn't want the clock always on, i just wanted the watch to "wake up" when i turn my wrist , with the watchstyler face showing.....that was solved by setting the watch to wake up on the last screen....i always hit the home button so that the watch face is the last screen.

1 year later, you're still a hero. Much appreciated

this seems to happen with any watch styler theme. watch styler should allow a version of the same theme for dim screen.
