Try toggling between 2G and 3G. Nexus 4 is incompatible with the service provider in India (Airtel) and going back to 2G gives me full strength.

That does not help. Issue is persistent on two of my Nexus 4.

Sideloaded Android 4.4.1 over 4.4 (stock, un-rooted). On pressing the Phone application the options are properly displayed. But on clicking the Dialer button at the bottom center, the dialpad is missing. You need to press back and click it again for the dialpad to appear. Anyone else noticed?

itic, if your device is not being recognized, you could un-install the driver and try "naked drivers". I faced the same issue when adb failed to recognize my device. Let me know if that helps, else we could troubleshoot from there.

I had the same problem with a Nokia headset. I guess you need to get a different brand. I am currently using Philips headset and Bose IE2 that works flawlessly. I will get the Philips headset version for you.
