For those who have not received OTA 4.4 yet .

Every time I checked for update it shows ' your system is upto date '. Then after taking backup of all my media contents I click settings >backup and restore > erase everything and after this restore I checked again for system updates and to my utmost surprise Android KITKAT is downloading on my Nexus 4. I don't know the reason behind it but it worked for me. Now please tell me how to install Google Experience Launcher on it . Thanks.

As I completely screwed my Nexus 4 trying to sideload and knowing nothing, I did a reset and 4.4 came down for me too.
